Mega big won - ton

Have you tried a mega big won ton ?

The size of this won-ton is about the size of ping pong ball, actually it is a bit bigger than that. The filling of the won-ton is filled with prawns and it is really crunchy when you take a bite. There are won-ton noodles served with it of course but the best part is not the noodle but the won-ton.
Where is this place?
It's at:
Tsim Tsai Kee
98 Wellington Street
Central
Hong kong
Just opposite Mak's noodles, same street with Yung Kee
Taste:-7/10
Price- Moderate

Do you fancy some roast goose?

Have you tried to famous roast goose?

Well, if you do stop by Hk for a visit, one of the many places that is worth a visit would be to try the famous roast goose.

HK is famous for roast and roast goose is one of the speciality of the city. In K.L, there are not many places that sells roast goose so I have taken the opportunity to try this speciality recommended by many.
The taste is good but I would not rave about it as much as I have done is some other food that I have eaten.
It is indeed worth a try as every single person in HK knows this place. It is chosen as one of the top 15 restaurants in the world by Fortune magazine once. Wikepedia says it use to be a 'dai pai dong'.
Yung Kee Restaurant,
32- 40 Wellington Street,
Central, HK
Price: Expensive
Taste : 7/10
Near MRT , so pretty convenient, ask around when you reach the Central station.

Hongkong - try the ' pei tan ' congee

Hongkong is know for the never-ending night life, exciting shopping and of course food!

One of the many good food that you could find in Hongkong is 'pei tan juk'. Okay in English, it is called thousand egg congee/porridge.

This congee could not be found in Malaysia. Yes, you will have to fly all the way to Hongkong and try this congee. Of course, you could find this version in Malaysia but what I mean is the taste.

Well, the reason why I rave about this is because in Hongkong, this shop in particular you could taste the thousand egg in the congee itself and it is just not when you bite the egg. I always wonder what the secret recipe is and I don't think I could find the answer unless the chef tells me.

And also the porridge is cooked just right and is sizzling hot!

So if you do go to Hongkong, do make this a stop to :

Ho Hung Kee Congee and Noodle Shop,

2 Sharp Street East,

Causeway Bay

(2 minutes walk from Times Square)

Taste- 9/10

Price- Moderate
Try it lah!
